REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Golkar Party politician and Social Affairs Minister Idrus Marham met Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summon on Thursday (July 26). He was examined again as a witness in alleged Riau-1 coal-fired power plant (PLTU) construction project bribery case.
"I've made appointment with KPK investigators,” said Idrus at KPK building, Jakarta, on Thursday.
Idrus admitted he was summoned to continue the last week's examination. He said there were several questions that unanswered yet. However, he refused to explain the questions.
“I will explain later,” Idrus added.
Meanwhile, KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah said several infromations needed to be asked to Idrus related his post as Golkar Party secretary-general. One of the informations that will be confirmed is related to the meeting conducted by Idrus and suspects in the bribery case.
“We need to confirm further to clarify about the meeting and project in the case,” Febri said.
In alleged Riau-1 coal-fired power plant construction project bribery case, KPK has named Golkar Party lawmaker Eni Maulani Saragih and businessman Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo as suspects. Eni as alleged bribe collector is suspected of violating Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 Law No. 31/1999 as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on Eradication Corruption, also Article 64 paragraph (1) Criminal Code (KUHP).
Meanwhile, Johannes as alleged bribe giver is suspected violated Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or letter b or article 13 Law No. 31/1999 as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on Eradication Corruption, also Article 64 paragraph (1) Criminal Code (KUHP).
