REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUPANG -- Subsidiary of state owned flight company, Citilink will open new route from Surabaya (East Java) to Kupang (East Nusa Tenggara). The first flight will be conducted on October 27, 2013.
"The flight is performed daily using Airbus 320 aircraft with capacity of 180 passengers," Sales Representative of Citilink in Kupang, Bachtiyar Setiawan in a meeting with travel agents on Thursday.
Setiawan explained that flight to Surabaya would be started at 06.30 AM (local time) from El Tari airport in Kupang. It will arrive at Juanda airport in Surabaya at 09.30 AM. The flight from Surabaya to Kupang will be started at 10.00 AM and arrive at El Tari airport at 11.05 AM (local time).
For next connecting flight, passengers from Kupang can switch their aircraft to other routes, such as Batam and Jakarta. Passengers can also check in to those routes from Kupang.
Citilink presence will add more flight companies, which have operated in Kupang, namely Garuda Indonesia, Merpati Nusantara, Lion Air and Srwijaya Air.
