REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CIREBON -- Vice presidential candidate number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka expressed his desire to provide as many stages as possible for local musicians.

“Basically we want to pay attention to the issue of IP, Royalty, giving support as much as possible to local musicians, regional musicians,” Gibran said while attending Gimick Gibran's event at Dumo Cafe, Cirebon, on Tuesday (30/1/2024).

Gibran also said that he wants to revive creative economy board, because he thinks that many young people today are not interested in office work. “We want to revive for example creative economy board, do you know creative economy board? There used to be such a thing as BEKRAF, you don't want office work, do you? You don't want to work from 7 to 5, do you? You don't want to be civil servants, do you? Yes, creative economy board is the solution,” Gibran explained, as in his press release. 

She gives examples of several creative hubs that have been created in Solo to realize the dreams of young people who want to live from creativity. “You want to live from creativity, right? If in Solo we create Lokananta, we create Techno Park, we create micro, small, and medium enterpreneur incubators, yes because young people are like this, because we can't expect young people to apply for jobs in the office. You guys are independent, right? Opening up jobs right? Yes, it is,” Gibran said
