REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, focused on completing the assignment until next October. Erick is reluctant to dwell on the issue of a cabinet reshuffle after October.

“I am still working with Mr. Jokowi, my time is always on a roll. The talks yesterday Mr. Jokowi will be involved in the discussion, just wait,” Erick said in Jakarta, Monday (26/2/2024).

Erick exemplifies that one of the important tasks to be completed is related to 88 SOE strategic projects. Erick said the Ministry of state-owned enterprises together with SOEs has been able to complete 79 SOE strategic projects to date.

“I still have a target until October of that which is not finishing nine, that's what we are focusing on finishing, if we can finish seven already thank God, if for example nine is top,” Erick said. Erick said the completion of SOE strategic projects is a form of commitment to development. Erick called the SOE's strategic projects have great benefits for the economy.

“Number one is that I think this October I will complete the task. The task is done first, don't right-left just yet. If I think I'm working for Mr. Jokowi's government where until October,” Erick said.
