BNN raided a Family-Run Drug Factory in Banten
BNN secures 10 suspects and 971,000 pieces of PCC narcotics evidence.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SERANG -- The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) RI uncovered a drug factory hidden in a luxury house or clandestine laboratory in the Purna Bakti Complex neighborhood, Taktak, Serang City, Banten, Wednesday (2/2/2) 10/2024). The BNN team secured 10 suspects.
“The BNN team secured 10 suspects with a total of 971,000 pieces of PCC narcotics (Paracetamol, Caffeine, Carisoprodol),” said Director of Psychotropics and Precursors of BNN RI Aldrin Marihot Pandapotan Hutabarat at the scene on Wednesday.
Aldrian explained on Friday (27/9), BNN conducted an investigation by monitoring the package in the form of 16 sacks sent through the expedition service. From the results of the examination it is known that the sack contained 960,000 grains of white pills, which after a drug test, the pills contained narcotics of the PCC type.
The BNN team then secured the DD suspect who then delivered a sack package containing PCC as well as searched a luxury house located in East Gurugui Neighborhood, Taktak, Serang City.
Subsequently on Saturday (28/9), BNN Team continued intensive operations at several points, such as Ciracas, East Jakarta, Lembang, West Java, and Serang, Banten, until finally securing other suspects.
The suspects are AC (packagers of finished products), JF (cooks), HZ (as suppliers of materials), and LF (suppliers of materials and packagers of finished products) involved in the production and distribution of PCC-type narcotics.
On Monday (30/9), a development was carried out against Suspect HZ at his residence located in the Ciracas area of Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, and two Automatic tablet printing machines and some powder containing Paracetamol were found.
In addition to arresting 10 suspects and narcotics evidence in the form of 971,000 PCC grains, BNN Team also secured the tools and materials used by the suspects to produce PCC, namely Paracetamol 1,400,750 grams and mixed weighing 1,720 grams, Caffeine weighing 427,000 grams, Microcrystalline Cellulose 310,000 grams, SodiumStarchglycolate/SSG 184,500 grams, Methanol 220,000 ml, Lactose 25,000 grams, Tramadadine 75,000 grams, Trihexphenidyl 2,729,500 grains, Magnesium Stearate 659,400 grams, Paracetamol, caffeine, trihexyphenidyl 19,400 grams, Povidone 50,000 grams.
