REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- In an effort to expand the insights and knowledge of its members, the Head of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) held an audience with the Head of the National Library (Perpusnas) of RI a few days ago.
During the meeting, it was agreed that National Library will donate 10 thousand books at the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of IPM to be held on December 1-3.
Chairman of PP IPM, Riandy Prawita explained that this partnership is an important step in developing reading interest and knowledge among students.
“Through this close collaboration, we are able to reach more IPM members and provide wider access to quality reading materials,” Riandy said in a press release received by Republika.
Meanwhile, Head of National Library, Muhammad Syarif Bando said that his party is very enthusiastic to support IPM's efforts in improving literacy among students.
“Providing access to 10,000 books from National Library at the Rakernas event is the first step in our joint efforts to foster interest in reading and knowledge among the younger generation,” he said.
This partnership between IPM and National Library marks a historic step in improving literacy and knowledge among students. It is hoped that this cooperation will have a positive impact in shaping a generation of more knowledgeable and literate students and become an important foundation for the future of the nation.
