REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Personnel Security of Vital Objects (Pam Obvit) of TNI AL thwarted the smuggling of 70 kilograms of sabu in the inspection area of Seaport Interdiction Bakauheni District, South Lampung Regency, Sunday (10/3).
According to an official press release from TNI AL received in Jakarta on Monday, the discovery of the 70-kilogram sabu occurred when members of the military and police stopped a white Toyota Kijang Innova car that was about to enter the port area.
Police officers and the AL military also inspected the car. When checked, officers found the drug in the car.
Officers estimated the sabu found in the car weighed 70 kilograms. As a result, three people who were in the car, IA, RY and SR, were immediately secured by officers to the Port Sector Police Station (KSKP) of Bakauheni.
Based on the results of the interim examination, the three suspected perpetrators who carried the sabu came from Aceh. Until now, officers did not know where the powder would be distributed.
To deepen the investigation, the three men along with the evidence of the car and the Toyota Kijang Innova vehicle were taken to KSKP in Jakarta for further investigation.
In the press release, it was mentioned that the result of the arrest of the smuggling of 70 kilograms of drugs of the type of sabu was the implementation of the order of the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral Muhammad Ali to all soldiers to always be alert and ready in the face of various problems that occur on the ground.
