REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Pertamina (Persero) became the largest SOE tax deposit contributor during 2023 to the state. SOE Minister Erick Thohir also gave appreciation to 20 SOEs contributing to the Tax for 2023. The highest ranked PT Pertamina (Persero) with a tax deposit of Rp 224.53 trillion.

“The continuous transformation of state-owned enterprises contributes to improving the company's performance and productivity. Alhamdulillah, with constantly increasing performance, state-owned enterprises can contribute greatly from the side of the state tax deposit, this result is also not separated from the hard work of all Commissioners, Directors and all SOE People. Thank you to all of you who continue to fight to make a great contribution to Indonesia,” Minister Erick said on the social networking site.

Vice President Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso said, Pertamina is committed to fulfilling its obligations as a state-owned enterprise by being responsible for tax deposits to the state. It is also part of the company's Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation.

“This is part of Pertamina's presence for the country through its commitment to tax deposits to the state given that taxes are an important instrument in the growth of the national economy,” Fadjar explained.

The tax award appreciation was organized by the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (DJP Kemenkeu) in commemoration of Tax Day 2024 held on July 26, 2024 in Jakarta.
