REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The looting of officials' homes does not only target members of Parliament. After the residence of Ahmad Sahroni (Nasdem), Eko Patrio (PAN), and Uya Kuya (PAN), people are now eyeing the private home of Finance Minister (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
A number of people openly entered Sri's house on Jalan Mandar, Bintaro, South Tangerang City, Banten on Sunday (31/8/2025) in the early morning hours of WIB. All goods and furniture inside Menkeu Sri's house were looted people.
They blatantly took things, having damaged property on the inside. In fact, an offender is very proud to be able to take things. “Steady looting tonight,” the perpetrator said.
In another video, he claimed, carrying expensive items from Sri's house. “I got some jewelry,” the perpetrator said while riding the bike.
The incident was captured in a number of posts on TikTok videos. The mob was seen casually taking Sri's belongings without any security guards standing guard to prevent it.
