Bandung to have ecotourism-based Islamic boarding school

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG - West Java will have an ecotourism-based Islamic boarding school. A real estate company in Bandung, PT Puteraco Indah provides waqf land of 2,000 meters square to the initiator of creative Islamic school, Ustadz Erick Yusuf, on Thursday. 

The land is located at Katumbiri in Bandung regency, where an Islamic complex will be built. The park will be based on Islamic values to introduce Islam in fun ways. The areas will contain of schools, mosques, outbound, gardening and farming location, outbound location and parking lots. Visitors can also get more benefits by doing sports or recreation.

"Visitors can refresh their mind, add some knowledge, and strengthen their belief in the Creator God Almighty, Allah," Yusuf said on Thursday.

Until now, initiators are still seeking for architects and planologs to build an environmentally friendly park. Yusuf added that Muslims must be professional in promoting Islam values.
