REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – An Indonesian died in Dana Air crash in Lagos, Nigeria, on Sunday, the Director of Indonesian Citizen Protection of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Tatang Budie Utama Razak, said.

“The victim is Widyo Utomo, 38 years old,” Razak said on Monday.

Widyo Utomo is a flight engineer in Dana Air. He has been working in Dana Air for a year. The Ministry has officialy informed and talked to his family. The Ministry will also manage the repatriation of his body.

Carrying 150 people on board, Dana Air crashed into a building in a densely populated district of Nigeria’s main city of Lagos. There were no survivors on board, the Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority said. The plane crash in Iju neighborhood after flew from the capital, Abuja.
