REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Government planned to raise tariff of several inner-city toll roads in Jakarta in December 2013. Government has issued a Ministerial Decree No 490/KPTS/M/2013, which has been signed on November 28, 2013.
Head of Public Communication in Ministry of Public Works, Danish H Sumadilaga said that the increase had done through an adjustment from Indonesian Toll Road Authority (BPJT) as toll road regulator in Indonesia.
"Inner-city toll roads have met the minimum service standards (MSS)," Sumadilaga said on Friday.
Actual tariff of inner-city toll roads have been carried out on October 11, 2013 in conjunction with 12 other toll roads. However, it was delayed due to the problem of road lighting that became service standardization. Inner-city toll roads include Cawang - Tomang - Grogol - Pluit and Cawang Tanjung Priok Ancol Timur Jembatan Tiga
Category I vehicles will pay 8,000 IDR from 7,000 IDR. Category II vehicles will pay 10,000 IDR from 8,500 IDR. Next, category III vehicles will pay 13,000 IDR from 11,500 IDR. Category IV vehicles will pay 16,000 IDR from 14,000 IDR, while Category V vehicles will pay 19,000 IDR from 17,000 IDR.
