REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo launched a one-door integrated service (PTSP) at the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) office, here, Monday (26/1).
The BKPM in its statement said the PTSP was established at the instruction of President Jokowi to help investors skip the lengthy process of bureaucracy.
BKPM Chairman Franky Sibarani stated that his office and other ministries/institutions are ready to serve the licensing process for all kinds of businesses.
"Investors needing licenses will be served better, as they do not have to tour Jakarta and visit several ministries/institutions for that purpose," Sibarani remarked, adding that investors just need to visit the BKPM office.
Coordination has been carried out by 22 relevant ministries/institutions, which will delegate their authorities in issuing licenses to the BKPM and assigning their personnel to help run the service.
