REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAMUJU -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is expected to visit West Sulawesi in September 2015 to inaugurate a number of infrastructure projects.
The palace confirmed that President Jokowi would come for the inauguration of infrastructure project in September, Muhammad Hamzih, spokesman of the West Sulawesi provincial administration, said here, Wednesday.
It will be Jokowi's third visit to West Sulawesi as the country's seventh president, according to Hamzih.
West Sulawesi have built infrastructure projects using budget allocation from the central government over the past eight years.
The projects include Belang-Belang seaport in Mamuju, Tampapadang airport in Mamuju, a 544-km long roads, offices for governor and the local legislative council, and hospitals.
West Sulawesi is a new province which was established in October 2004. It was part of South Sulawesi Province before.
