REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Cup Tournament will be held on Sunday (30/8). This match will be opened by the President of Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. The Minister of Youth and Sports, Imam Nahrawi will also be present at the opening of the Presidents Cup tournament.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Gatot S Dewa Broto, said that the preparation of the tournament so far was going well. "Based on reports from PT Mahaka, there was no problem," said Gatot, Sunday (30/8).

The President Cup Tournament is held by Mahaka Sport and Entertainment. Various requirements of the tournament from Ministry of Youth and Sports was already filled by Mahaka.

“Indonesian Professional Sport Agency (BOPI) had given the recommendations and Police had given the permission,” he added.

Jokowi and Imam Nahrawi also has departed from Jakarta to Bali on Sunday (30/8) morning. The tournament will be held in the afternoon.

In the opening tournament of President Cup, Persija will perform against Bali United on 30th August at the Captain Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali.
