REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Internet Society (ISOC) is holding its first Asia Internet Symposium (AIS) in Jakarta, Indonesia today. Hosted by the ISOC Jakarta Chapter, the event will bring together experts from the government, private sector, technical community and civil society to discuss the unfolding cyber security landscape in Indonesia.
The Asia Internet Symposium in Jakarta will focus on identifying the relevant stakeholders, local and international frameworks, and policy and social implications of online security threats in Indonesia. Expected participants include government officials, industry analysts, law enforcement professionals, academics and end-users.
The Internet Society's Asia Internet Symposium series aims to tackle specific Internet issues of relevance to local stakeholders, and has been held in various cities around Asia.
