REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) was eager to intended to manage entire public transports in Jakarta. Later, public transport routes could be managed by PT Transjakarta.
"I hope, all routes in Jakarta can be managed by Transjakarta. So that they can only pay Rp 3,500," he said, at the City Hall, Friday (8/1)
Management of the routes means PT Transjakarta should be able to integrate with all city transit buses. So far, PT Metro Mini was still not ready to join.
Metro Mini drivers wanted salaries to Rp 8 million as one of requirements of integration with PT Transjakarta. Ahok stated, that the bus would turn itself off if it was not willing to join with the city government.
PT Transjakarta Director, Budi Kaliwono, still did not want to talk much about transport management in Jakarta. He also did not explained about integration strategy conducted by PT Transjakarta with Metro Mini.
