REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The leadership of the House of Representatives (DPR) and its factions have agreed to shorten recess time from a month to two weeks in a bid to increase work efficiency, remarked House Speaker Ade Komaruddin.
"Leaders of the DPR and its factions have agreed to cut short the length of recess time from a month to at most two weeks," the house speaker stated at the Parliament building here on Monday.
The leaders of the DPR and its factions met on Monday to discuss the matter.
The DPR leadership also arrived at a decision to not conduct comparative studies and overseas working visits with regard to the House's special committee.
"Regarding the comparative studies and working visits, the special committee has coordinated with DPR's secretary general. They have agreed not to conduct overseas working visits," he added.
