REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) cannot promote themselves in Indonesia whatever the reason. The promotion either through campaign nor through social media The National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA) Chairman Arist Merdeka Sirait said.

Government, said Arist, certainly can restrict and control LGBT promotion websites.

"It has been proven, Komnas PA and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology can control radical, porn, and anarchy sites," said Arist on Thursday (25/2).

LGBT promotion sites must be closed to protect children and teenager, because, the two types of young generation can imitate the deviant behavior from LGBT.

"There is a social media account that promote gay has 3.000 followers. That one of the negative impact if LGBT promotion contain not be closed," said Arist.
