REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government is set to announce the 12th tranche of economic policy package at the Merdeka Palace here on Thursday evening.

"We will announce it this evening," Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution said at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday.

Darmin met President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Thursday from 09.30 to 10.40 a.m. to discuss the content of the policy package.

However, he refused to divulge the content of the policy package.

Since September last year, the government has issued 11 economic policy packages to facilitate businesses and investment in Indonesia.

The policy packages are also aimed at spurring economic development in regions across the country.

The 11th economic policy package covers a micro-credit program for export-oriented businesses, real estate investment fund and development of pharmaceutical industry and health instrument industry.
