REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Director of the film 'Saturday Together with Father', Monty Tiwa has a distinct impression on his new movie. According to Monty, the crew, cast and production houses are working at their very maximum because each has deadline to the main theme of the film.

"I feel that this film is very different compared to my previous films. The cast, crew, production houses, as well as all parties involved went all out, because the majority has a connection in their personal experience of the life and the father of this film," says Monty Tiwa, yesterday.

Based on the novel phenomenal best seller, 'Saturday Together with Father' became one of five films that will adorn the widths of cinema screens in Indonesia that will be aired in July 5, 2016.

Despite being the best-selling novel, Monty admitted feeling unencumbered as he and his team works on the Falcon Pictures film project to its maximum.

"If you want to succeed then so be it. For the team and I when working on this film, we did not think about that this story is the result of best-selling novel, we just want to it to the best of our capabilities. It's a good story and it’s really well done so it deserves the same treatment in the movie as it is in the novel," he said.

Monty believed that anyone who watches this film can learn a lot on how to be a good person.

“The messages of being a good family members, as well as relationships with parents and how to improve them. In short, we are working to make sure that all these messages can be taken home by the audience. Not just saying “Oh I finished watching” but actually feel that they have learned a lot from the movie,” said Monty.

The film 'Saturday Together with Father' tells the story of a father named Gunawan Garnida (Abimana Aryasatya) who knows that he will not be able to survive for very long. Gunawan knows that there is possibility that he might not be able to see his two children, Satya (Arifin Putra) and Chakra (Deva Mahenra), growing up. Gunawan decided to do something so that his two children feel that they did not lose a father in their lives.

As an adult, Satya and Chakras have their own problems. Satya had a problem with her foster home together with Rissa (Acha Septriasa) and Chakra having trouble finding a partner. Mother Itje (Ira Wibowo) was not immune from the problem, when she decided to go on her own path.

'Saturdays Together Father' will be aired simultaneously in all theaters in Indonesia on July 5, 2016.
