REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The National Police mapped a number of vulnerability potencies during the upcoming visit of King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud to Bali. The police also conducted coordination with the national police of Saudi Arabia.
“We have had a communication with Arab Kingdom’s personnel. And we are investigating the actual information related to the vulnerable potencies,” said the spokesperson of the National Police Commissioner Martinus Sitompul in South Jakarta on Thursday.
Among the potencies were traffic jam and terrorism. The police had made an early warning system to prevent the traffic jam and some alternative solutions had been prepared to solve it. The potency and prevention of terrorism had also been identified. By all those efforts, Martinus hoped to maximize the security, so the king’s visit for vacation run well.
Martinus did not mention the details of tourism object to be visited by the king and entourages. However, transfer of information with Saudi national police would be conducted to formulate the security plot. Some objects, such as beaches, would be closed during the visit.
"Not all parts along the beaches will be closed, maybe only some parts of it.”
