REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) began his working visit to Yogyakarta by attending the Ninth Congress on Pancasila state ideology, in the meeting hall of the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM).
Jokowi, who was accompanied by First Lady Iriana, shook hand with several UGM students upon his arrival in the UGM Hall.
During his stay in Yogyakarta, he would also officially open a national coordinating meeting of the Indonesian Teachers' Association (PGRI).
He is also scheduled to lay the first corner stone for a construction of Muhammadiyah museum in the University of Ahmad Dhalan, according to a press statement of the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
From Yogyakarta, the Head of State and his entourage will proceed to Semarang.
On Saturday evening, he will leave Semarang for Pekanbaru, Riau Province.
