REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAGELANG - The number of visitors coming to Borobudur Temple is expected to reach 256,000 visitors amid the Eid al-Fitr holidays during August 17-26 this year. The Head of Borobudur Temple Unit, Bambang Irianto, said the management did not raise the admission fee for visitors.
As usual for domestic visitor, admission fee for adult is 30,000 IDR and 12,500 IDR for children. Meanwhile, adult foreign tourist must pay 20 USD and 10 USD for child.
To entertain the visitors, the temple will present traditional art performance, such as dance, keroncong, wayang kulit, and cokekan during August 21-26 at Museum Borobudur. The management will also cooperated with the third party to provide some attractive facilities like horse-riding, train, and bicycle.
