REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Bolaang Mongondow (Bolmong) district increases the socialization of drug dangers to madrasah students in the area.
“This activity aims to enable students to be more vigilant and proactive in protecting themselves and their environment from the threat of drug harm,” said BNN Bolmong Community Prevention and Empowerment Section Team Leader Marchshell Silly Tanak, in Bolmong, some time ago.
This time it conducted a socialization on the dangers of drug abuse at Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Negeri (MAKN) Bolaang Mongondow.
Marchshell Silly Tanak says about the dangers of drugs for the younger generation as well as data and facts related to the negative impact that drugs cause, both for individuals and for society as a whole.
“The importance of understanding the dangers of drugs and the role of society in the prevention of narcotic abuse,” he said.
The socialization event also features various materials and knowledge such as exposure of data and facts related to drug abuse trends in different regions especially Bolmong, tutorials on how to recognize signs of drug abuse, as well as interactive discussions on effective prevention strategies.
Yuni Prastiwi Ningsih Deputy Head of Madrasah for Education said thank you to BNN Bolmong Regency for socializing at MAKN Bolmong, hopefully with better education and understanding about the dangers of drugs, we can all jointly prevent narcotic abuse in the madrasah environment.
“This socialization is very beneficial for us to better understand the dangers of drugs so that we can all together prevent the misuse of narcotics in our madrasah environment,” he said.
During the socialization activities, all participants are enthusiastic and active while following the course of socialization. The school also supports the full realization of the Drug-Free School environment.
