REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SOLO -- Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka admitted that he will work directly after he is officially sworn in as RI 2 on October 20, 2024. “So we will be sworn in directly to work, work, work and execute,” Gibran said in Solo City, Central Java, Thursday (2/5/2024).

Gibran said that the transition process from the government of President Jokowi and Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin will be smooth, because now both sides are adapting to each other. “The transition process, yes in essence here we have agreed to minimize the learning process and also the adaptation process,” Gibran said.

On the other hand, Gibran admitted, will do quick wins. Quick wins are an initiative that can be easily and quickly achieved within a year to start implementing a program of bureaucratic reform, especially related to the eradication of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN) and improving the quality of public services.

“Especially the ones yesterday we often threw during the campaign and also set up some quick wins for the next 100 days,” Gibran said.

Given the figure of a candidate for the 2024-2029 cabinet, Gibran handed it over to President-elect Prabowo Subianto. “That will be the decision of the President-elect. (The issue of the minister) will be discussed later only persistently,” the mayor of Solo said.
