REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- Former Jokowi special staffer Aminuddin Ma'ruf said President-elect Prabowo Subianto stressed to prospective cabinet members to help him lead Indonesia towards a super power or superpower.

“Prabowo stressed the importance of cooperation between the antarctic cooperation, especially the political elite as an absolute condition for leading Indonesia forward, towards a super power state approximately so,” Aminuddin said after participating in the debriefing of vice-ministerial candidates at Prabowo's residence, Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Thursday (17/10/2024).

Prabowo also stressed his commitment to continue downstream and industrialization in all sectors initiated by the government of President Joko Widodo, as an absolute requirement for Indonesia to become a great power country. “Earlier he explained the stages of transformation of a nation towards a developed nation and ultimately towards a great power country,” Aminuddin said.

At the briefing, Prabowo outlined global challenges both in the areas of security defense, technological advancement, and economics in particular. According to him, the comparison between the strengths of other nations and the shortcomings of the Indonesian nation is a particular challenge for the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.

“Of course to bring Indonesia better. God willing, from a government that transitions like this from Mr. Jokowi to Mr. Prabowo, God willing, there is no respite anymore, after the cabinet is sworn in immediately,” he said.

The briefing titled “Hambalang Retreat” was followed by cabinet deputy minister candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka with 54 participants. The debriefing of tasks for the prospective deputy ministers starts around 09.00 WIB to 17.00 WIB with various announcements, such as artificial intelligence (AI), media and communications, future employment, and anticorruption materials.
