I ask that details of activities that are too ceremonial, too many seminars, too many ceremonies, too many conferences, too many foreign trips, please be reduced,” Prabowo said.

In his opinion, the example needs to be shown from above. A positive culture. The leader should show clearly the right actions. By themselves, the people follow. At the same time, budget allocations are more effectively channeled. So it can be optimally beneficial in all sectors.

'We have to set an example our focus is economic development of people's welfare into, don't make it up, comparative studies, learn to scout into other countries. Yes, I ask to be efficient,” the president said, reiterating.

Prabowo continued, in his administration, he strengthened the Presidential Chief of Staff. He added another to the Development Control and Special Investigations Board. The task of the agency is to monitor all programs, ongoing projects.

The President also established the Agency for Accelerating Poverty Alleviation. The agency will study, follow all the social protection programs, all the assistance programs to the people in need, and then there will be interventions.

“It's not that I want to interfere with the work of the ministries, no, but I want to help, where there is a bottleneck, where there are difficulties, we immediately overcome,” Prabowo said.

The President asked all the audience to honestly admit that the bureaucracy in Indonesia still needs to be reformed. Notoriously slow, often complicating. That's why he's trying to change it. “Some even say that if it can be made difficult why it is easy to make it. This is what I ask ministers. Now, let us be bolder, let us not hesitate to give the best service to our people,” he said.
