REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government of Indonesia supports the implementation of the nuclear deal, as per the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), on Iran's atomic program, the Foreign Affairs Ministry's spokesperson has said.
Arrmanatha Nasir, the spokesperson, said in a press statement made available to Antara here on Tuesday that the JCPOA's implementation indicated the success of the diplomatic approach pursued by Iran and P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the UK, the US, and the European Union).
Indonesia appreciated the dialogue and the negotiation process between the two sides as they sought a peaceful solution and hoped that the plan of action could be implemented smoothly, based on the agreement.
The JCPOA should turn out to be a new chapter for Iran, enabling it to contribute in a major way to world peace and prosperity, Nasir added.
