Soetta Airport monorail project needs 700 million USD

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANGERANG - The plan of monorail project between Soekarno Hatta Airport and Serpong needs 6.5 trillion IDR or 700 million USD, according to the Head of Transportation Department in Banten Province, Husni Hasan. PT INKA, seven developers, and Banten Global Development involve in this project.

"We have explained and promoted on the development of the monorail. All housing developers are ready to help providing the area," Husni said.

The building is now on feasibility study, which is due to finish by the end of 2012. The process of the construction will be carried out on the early 2013.

"The construction of the monorail frame between Serpong and Soekarno Hatta Airport is due to finish on 2014," he said.
