REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State-owned bank, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) published new credit card to develop credit card ownership in Indonesia. BNI cooperated with international credit card based in Japan, the Japan Credit Bureau (JCB).
Director of Consumer and Retail at BNI, Darmadi Sutanato said that the new credit card was expected to seize opportunities and new credit card ownership in Japanese society groups who worked in Indonesia and also the lovers of Japanese products in Indonesia. "It would help JCB to enter Indonesian market since they present in Indonesia in 1983," he said on Tuesday.
Sutanato also expected that the cooperation would be able to trigger credit card users in Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian countries to travel to Indonesia.
Deputy President of JCB International, Kimihisa Imada said that they were committed to actively invest and bring their expertise in quality of service and the technology. They would develop payments industry in Indonesia.
