REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR - Central Board of Amateur Boxing Association of Indonesia (PP Pertina) will send four female boxers to follow Elite Women Boxing Championship in Kazakhstan, August 2013. Chairman of National Training in PP Pertina, John Amanupunyo said the four boxers were main team of SEA Games 2013.

"They are Batrix Sugoro (South Kalimantan), Marni Allawa (Riau), Christine Jembai (West Papua) and Immaculata Loda (East Nusa Tenggara)," Amanupunyo said on Monday.

PP Pertina also prepares two other boxers as reserves. Amanupunyo said Indonesia didn't have specific targets in the championship as their main target was to improve their ability to fight in an international event. Before going to Kazakhstan, Indonesian female boxers had a training camp in South Korea few months ago. Amanupunyo said some boxers from Kazakhstan and former Soviet Union were hard to be defeated.
