REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR -- A German investor from the Gerry Weber Sportpark group has explored a cooperation with the Bali provincial government to build an international standard of sport stadium in the island resort.
"Absolutely the Bali Administration has planned to build an international level of sport stadium at the provincial government's plot of land located in Pecatu, Badung District," Bali Deputy Governor Ketut Sudikerta said here on Wednesday when receiving the German investor.
According to Sudikerta, the infrastructure development in supporting the sport activities has become one of the priorities of development in Bali Mandara.
"This is in line with the Bali's efforts to develop the potential of the tourism sport. If this can be realized, we are sure that many international sport events will be held in our area," he noted.
The Bali administration is open to cooperate with investors so long as not in conflict with applicable regulations.
With regard to the opportunities most likely to be explored in asset utilization in Pecatu, the Deputy Governor advised the investors to further coordinate with relevant agencies, among others, the Bureau of Assets, Licensing and Investment and the regional Planning Agency.
