REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAYAPURA –- Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team Papua, identified six bodies of victims of the Trigana Air that crashed in Oksob, Bintang Mountains, Sunday (16/8).
Head of medical and health of Papua Police, Dr. Ramond explained that the six bodies that were identified, namely Egenio Dilam (22 years old), Marcelino DK Karobaba (3 months old), Esep Aruman (39 years old), Jhon Baltasar Gasper , Ewelin Urobmobin (6 months old), and Valerin (3 years old).
There were 21 bodies that has already been identified by the DVI team from 54 passengers and crews of the aircraft.
“The DVI team is still waiting for confirmation from the family to make sure the identity. DNA test will be the final step in revealing the identity of the victims,” he added.
