REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Great Indonesia Movement party (Gerindra) Secretary General Ahmad Muzani has said Jakarta governor candidate Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok)-Djarot Saiful Hidayat team must give clarification about alleged racial sentiments in their video campaign.
Ahmad heard some parties mentioned the video considered to provoke chaos or clash in second round of the Jakarta gubernatorial election. "Yes, a number of collegues heard the information about it, it really provokes," Muzani said in Jakarta, on Monday (April 10).

However, Muzani did not give the statement about the video about ethnic, religious, racial and social group (SARA) sentiments. Muzani only said about the clarification from Ahok-Djarot team. "They have to give the clarification (statement). The situation was not right," Muzani said.
Muzani said Jakarta governor candidates should maintain the security and stability to welcome the second round of the Jakarta gubernatorial election that will be held on April 19. "It should be no threat. The video showed no peace," Muzani said.
