REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Secretary General of Gerindra Party, Achmad Muzani, criticized vice presidential candidate Jusuf Kalla (JK) who once rejected the presidential nomination of his own running mate, Joko Widodo (known as Jokowi). Muzani underlined the importance of consistency between words and actions to measure leadership quality.

"We can measure his consistency between words and actions in the past," Muzani said on Monday.

Hence, voters must choose their leader carefully since their choice will be decisive factor for the nation's fate in the next five years. Muzani believes that Prabowo Subianto, the presidential candidate of Gerindra Party, is consistent both in words and actions. Muzani said, Subianto had strong leadership and dared to take risks. 

"He is consistent and tested leader, and he's got his reputation for daring to take risks," Muzani said.

Kalla previously expressed his disapproval over Jokowi's presidential nomination. He gave such criticism several months afterJokowi was sworn in as governnor of Jakarta.
