REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAYAPURA -- Four passengers drowned when their boat capsized in Lake Sentani, Jayapura District, Papua province, Sunday at 4 pm local time.

The boat, carrying 27 people, capsized off Kwadeware Kampong, Waibu sub-district, Papua. Twenty-three people survived and four died in the accident, Senior Commissioner Pudjo, spokesman for the Papua police, said here on Monday.

Most of the boat's passengers were members of GIDI Church's congregation.
