REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Attorney General H. M. Prasetyo said that his office was still awaiting the results of the judicial reviews from the Supreme Court (MA) before executing the convicts on death row.

"We are waiting for the legal process to be completed. There are still pending judicial reviews filed with the MA by Sylvestre, Serge Areski Atlaoui (of France) and Martin Anderson alias Belo (of Ghana)," Prasetyo stated before attending a cabinet meeting here on Monday (30/3).

He added that the executions will be carried out simultaneously as it will be more practical and they will be able to avoid being pressured by other countries.

On the delay in the execution of the death row convicts, Prasetyo told reporters to ask the MA, which has yet to come to a decision on the judicial reviews of the three convicts sentenced to death.

"Please question the Supreme Court, which is supposed to make a decision on the judicial reviews of the three convicts," the attorney general remarked.

He has released the names of the 10 convicts who will be executed. They are Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran from of Australia; Raheem Agbaje Salami, Okwudili Oyatanze, and Silvester Obiekwe Nwaolise alias Mustofa from Nigeria; Zainal Abidin from Indonesia; Serge Areski Atlaoui from France; Rodrigo Gularte from Brazil; Martin Anderson alias Belo from Ghana; and Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso from the Philippines.

According to plans, the executions will be carried out simultaneously on the Nuskambangan Island.
