REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Governor Basuki Purnama Tjahaja (Ahok) has heard the explanation of Vice Gunernur DKI, Djarot Saiful Hidayat related to granting an operating license for the Jakarta People's Party (PRJ) in Senayan, Central Jakarta. However, he asked one thing to Djarot.
"He said he supported it. It's okay, but I told him did not use governor letterhead to grant permits because I didn't leave. He just support it, it is a lesson," said Ahok at City Hall Jakarta, on Monday, June 1.
Ahok deplored these licenses, because the presence of PRJ Senayan was not give benefit to the small traders. However, it is only profitable to the person who rents the place trades.
"The problem is if DKI supported, he can trade and obtain money. Now, he don't responsible for the tenants," said Basuki.
The traders in Senayan claimed that they were cheated. Because there were many who charged high fees for renting the place.
"How about traders which have been paid? They were already paid and must be fooled. We must be careful at those who asked for support," said former politician of Gerindra.
