REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Commission III member of the House of Representatives (DPR), Arsul Sani supported the discourse that Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) would be armed. It is not exceptional because, the investigators also accept the firearms.

According to him, if it was required by the commission, it was not a problem. "If that is indeed the need of KPK personnel, no problem, Parliament will supports" he said at the parliament complex in Senayan, on Tuesday, July 7.

The Deputy Secretary General of the United Development Party (PPP) said, all parties should not prejudice if the commission were armed. To obtain the permission to carry a gun, a person must pass the test. So, not all personnel could pass the test.

Even if there were cases of firearms misuse, he added, do not generalize the case.

"We should not prejudice, like Satpol PP, now they no longer misuse it," he stated.

KPK investigators armed discourse was raised after there was terror on KPK investigators.
