REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- Thousands hectares of land ​​Lido, Cigombong, Bogor, West Java, was rumored to be developed into an integrated tourism area like Disneyland. However, Department of Spatial Planning of Bogor, said the developer had not renewed the existing licenses.

Head of Spatial Planning Department of Bogor, Eka Warto, said that it was already heard the plan that land will be used as world recreational vehicle, like Disneyland in Los Angeles, United States.

"The only project which is still running today is a resort and golf development activities," said Eka when contacted by Republika.co.id, Saturday (12/9).

Eka explained that the land was included in two areas, namely Bogor and Sukabumi. He said the Site Plan has been accepted by the Department of Spatial Planning, namely establishing integrated agrihorticultural tourism ​​550,715 square meters of area by PT Lido Nirwana Parahyangan in 2014.

The site plan included residential, commercial trade services, enterprise objects and attractions, golf, along with other supporting facilities. The locations listed on the site plan was Wates Jaya village, Cigombong, Bogor.

According to Eka, the proposal was given by domestic investors. He did not know if any other cooperation with foreign parties.

"There could be internal cooperation with other parties," he said.

He further added, Cigombong region has been targeted for three allotment of space. First, the designation of urban settlements with medium population density, dry land, and protected areas.
