REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) inaugurated new building on its 12th anniversary. KPK chairman Agus Rahardjo hoped, with the new building, KPK could improve the performance of corruption eradication in Indonesia.
"Today is the 12th years that KPK has been established. We should continue to work hard to realize Indonesia free of corruption," said Agus, in new KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday (29/12).
Although the new KPK building was not yet fully completed, the building currently has 70 examination rooms. He stated that it is much larger than the old building.
"There are 70 examination room with very tight security," he added.
Agus said the building's security is also improved. According to him, the building construction fund was not from public, but from the state budget.
