REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has honorably discharged Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arcandra Tahar. In the past two days rumours spread widely that Arcandra holds dual citizenship by having US and Indonesia passport.
"After getting detail informations from many resources, president has discharged Arcandra Tahar from his position as the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources," State Secretary Pratikno said during press conference on Monday.
Coordinating Maritime Affairs Minister Luhut Binsar pointed as acting energy minister until the president finds a permanent replacement for Arcandra.
About Arcandra's discharge, Pratikno did not give detail explanation. Including about Arcandra's dual citizenship rumours.
