REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta`s team Persija Jakarta crushed the Singapore's club of Tampines Rovers with a score of 4-1 in advanced game of the AFC Cup 2018 Group H, which took place here on Wednesday. The Persija's player Marko Simic became a star in the match which was held in the Bung Karno Main Stadium, in Senayan, Jakarta, who netted three goals in the 11th, 74th and 86th minutes.
Another goal was scored by Rezaldi Hehanusa in the 41st minute. Meanwhile, the single goal for Tampines Rovers was netted by striker, Khairul Amri in the 77th minute.
This victory can be considered as a very good result because Persija then played with 10 men after it's Brazilian center-back Jaimerson da Silva Xavier received a red card in the second half of game, or exactly 48 minutes.
The win also became the first victory for Persija in Group H of AFC 2018 after the 0-3 defeat to Malaysian Super League team Johor Darul Takzim in the inaugural match that took place in Malaysia.
Earlier (on Feb.17), the Jakarta's team Persija Jakarta successfully won the 2018 President Cup preseason tournament after crushing the Bali Provincial soccer team of Bali United 3-0 in Jakarta on Saturday night, which was held in the same stadium.
