REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- West Java Provincial Administration launched of Citarum Bestari declaration in Village of Cangkuang Wetan, sub-district Dayeuhkolot, Bandung, on Thursday (2/6). The launching was attended by number of stakeholders such as Bandung Regent Dadang Naser, except mayor of Bandung Ridwan Kamil.

Head of the regional environmental agency (BPLHD) of West Java, Anang Sudarna claimed they have invited Ridwan Kamil. In fact, Ridwan Kamil not coming make his agency regret for this action. Whereas, he continued, environmental issues, in particular the Citarum River, should be solved together, including the Government of Bandung. Moreover, Bandung also has contribute to the garbage to Citarum River.

"He said he has never accepted the invitation from us (BPLHD Jabar). Whereas we already invited them but they did not attend," he said when attend declaration of Citarum Bestari on Thursday.

Anang said, not only the launching of Citarum Bestari which Ridwan Kamil or his staffs was not came. In meeting about the handling of the Citarum River, he continued, the government of Bandung also often not came.

"He said he was never invited. Now we have already sent invitation but he is not here," he added.
