REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Whoosh Fast Train achieved the highest daily passenger count since it was commercially operated. As of Thursday (27/6/2024), 22,249 people used Whoosh.

Of these, 11,482 passengers departed from Halim Station. Then 8,123 passengers from Padalarang Station. Then 2,644 passengers from Tegalalur Station.

General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC Eva Chairunisa said that today the average daily passenger volume of Whoosh is about 17 thousand people per day. The increase in volume on the weekend is also influenced by the moment of school holidays. Many families use Whoosh services to vacation in Jakarta and in Bandung.

KCIC, explains Eva, is grateful to passengers who have already used Whoosh. Since being commercially operated on October 17, 2023, Whoosh has served as many as 3.5 million passengers. This figure shows the fact that the public has made Whoosh the mode of choice.

“We will continue to take care of improving Whoosh services both at the Station and on trips,” Eva said in a press release on Saturday (29/6/2024).

Gradually the average daily passenger of Whoosh Also increased. By June 2024, the average Whoosh passenger per day reached 17.2 thousand people. This number is an increase of three percent when compared to the average daily average of passengers in May 2024, which is 16.7 thousand or an increase of 26 percent compared to April, i.e. 13.6 thousand individuals per day.
