REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini affirms that the voice of the people is the voice of God. It was submitted in response to the issue related to the names included in the candidate exchange for Governor of DKI Jakarta 2024 in the upcoming elections.

“I'm afraid frankly, it's not that what I can talk about or not, it's God first, the people's second, the people's voice is the voice of God,” Risma said after the Designer Summit 2024 event at the Salemba Social Ministry Office, Central Jakarta, on Friday.

Earlier, Thursday (25/4), Secretary of DPD PDI Perjuangan DKI Jakarta Pantas Nainggolan mentioned that PDI Perjuangan proposed Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini to Minister of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas to advance in Jakarta's gubernatorial election.

“Yes, there are still networks, it can be Risma, it can be DPRD Chairman of Jakarta Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, including, for example, Azwar Anas,” he said.

It is worth praising the performance of Risma who has previously led the City of Surabaya and his performance has had a great impact in the region.
