REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, AMSTERDAM -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto ended a series of business visits to the Netherlands and began leaving Amsterdam on Friday (26/9/2025). From Schipol International Airport, Amsterdam, a Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft took off leaving Amsterdam bound for Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma.
Under the stairs of the plane, Prabowo was removed by Director of the Protocol and Host Country Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Gabriella Sancisi and Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty the King Letkol Tienka Campenhout. Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mayerfas and Athan RI in The Hague Navy Colonel (P) Rikrik Permadi Sobana also removed RI 1.
The atmosphere of departure is all the more solemn with the presence of honorary troops. Two honorary soldiers stood tall at the end of the plane's steps, while nine other servicemen lined neatly on the left side of the red carpet, paying a final tribute to Prabopwo.
Full of honor and a solemn military procession, Prabowo left Amsterdam after carrying out important agendas that strengthened Indonesian and Dutch cooperation in various fields. Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Letkol Inf Teddy Indra Wijaya explained that President Prabowo had the honor of being welcomed directly by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.
On the occasion, Prabowo discussed various important issues. Including, he added, strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various strategic areas.
“Then, just now, Mr. President was received by King Willem, the King of the Netherlands and Queen Maxima. The king is the supreme head of state in the Netherlands and this is certainly very good for the relationship between the two countries,” Teddy said.
