Indonesia and Dutch football teams to have a friendly match

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The Dutch 'Oranje' will challenge Indonesian national team in a friendly match of 'FIFA International Match Day' in Jakarta, June 7. The Dutch Ambassador to Indonesia, Tjeerd de Zwan said the match would boost friendship and cooperation between two countries.

Louis van Gaal as Dutch coach will bring his football stars like Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie, Klaas jan Huntelaar, Wesley Sneijder, Dirk Kruyt and Rafael van der Vaart. Dutch national team was a finalist in 2010 World Cup and the team including the team are popular among football addicts in Indonesia.  

Chairman of Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI) Djohar Arifin said that the match was more than a game since this was the first meeting between the two countries after registering to FIFA. "The match will push Indonesian rangking at FIFA," he said on Monday.
