Indonesian karate athletes to follow ISG in S Sumatra

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Palembang, South Sumatra will host Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) III on September 22 to October 1, 2013. 

"Some participant countries will send their athletes who sit in high rangking in World Karate Federation (WKF). I'm sure the match will be interesting since world champions from Islamic countries in the Middle East will participate," General Secretary of Indonesian Karate-Do Federation, Aliuddin on Wednesday.

Men athletes of WKF who will follow this game are Rafael Aghayev from Azarbaijan, as well as Karamollaoglu and Enes Erkan from Turkey. While among women athletes there are Serap Ozcelik and Hafsa Seyda Burucu from Turkey. This event will use three official languages namely English, Arabic and Spanish.

Twenty five countries have confirmed to participate in this match are Maldives, Syria, Oman, Brunei Darussalam, Iraq, Sudan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Tunisia, Iran, Zambia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Suriname, Mozambique, Albania, Algeria, Guinea, Turkey, and  Indonesia as the host.
